Victoria De Cardenas

Victoria De Cardenas joined the CBS12 News Team in September 2022 and is happy to be back under the Florida sun!

Victoria joined CBS12 after working for Sinclair Broadcast Network’s WGXA in Macon, Ga., since 2018. While in Georgia, Victoria worked as morning reporter and was promoted evening anchor. During her time in Georgia, Victoria won several AP News awards.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, she is happy to be back closer to her Cuban roots. Victoria graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in History. (GO CANES!) While in college, Victoria worked for UM’s student-lead broadcast team, UMTV and also interned at the CW and FOX affiliate, WSVN.

When she’s not reporting, Victoria enjoys spending time with friends and family, her dog, Gypsy, working out and hitting the beach!
