Lena Salzbank is a General Assignment Reporter covering Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast. She is a native New Yorker and joins our team after four years in New York City where she spent her time as an Assignment Editor, Photographer, and Reporter. Lena has covered everything from major court cases in the Bronx to deadly fires in Brooklyn. She helped field produce live coverage of the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests across the city.
After covering local News in NYC, Lena soon learned how important it was to always be a voice for the everyday mother, father, brother, and sister. Telling the stories of local residents during their best and their worst is what keeps Lena coming back for more.
Lena graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park where she earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism. During her time in Maryland, Lena worked as an intern at the Baltimore Sun covering stories across the state.
She is now happy to make the Sunshine state her home. And when Lena is not working, you might find her running a 10K. She loves being outdoors, going on hikes, and spending time with her twin sister and friends.
