POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is dead following a shooting in Pompano Beach.
The Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) said just before 3 a.m. on Friday, deputies responded to reports of shots fired on2330 N.W. Sixth Street.
Deputies say they found 32-year-old Andrew Ford suffering from gunshot wounds. A deputy immediately administered life-saving measures until Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived.

The sheriff's office said paramedics brought Ford to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. BSO’s Homicide Unit detectives were notified and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
