LAKE PARK, Fla. (CBS12) — Detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Lake Park on Wednesday night.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) said deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the Burlington parking lot, at 1220 Northlake Boulevard, at around 7:15 p.m. When deputies arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach.
The sheriff's office said the man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment but he later died from his injuries.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Division are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
