WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — 56 dogs at the Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control are available for adoption, with fees lowered to $5.
ThePalm Beach County Department of Public Safety’s Division of Animal Care and Control (PBCACC) is theonly open-admission shelter in the county, accepting all animals in need regardless of their condition. Services are provided to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, and help is needed to continue caring for them.
The shelter says during the month of May it is offering$5 adoptions to motivate the community to adopt instead of shop.

Those interested in adopting or fostering a furry friend are encouraged to meet their match in person.Pets can also be viewed online and the foster and adoption application is completed in person at PBCACC. No appointment is needed.
Adoption center hours are Monday through Friday, noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
