LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady is in talks to become a limited partner of the Las Vegas Raiders, according to a new report.
There have been discussions for the last few weeks and negotiations could reach a resolution soon, ESPN's Seth Wickersham and Adam Schefter broke on Friday.
Still, the talks are said to be "extremely sensitive and fluid," they report, and his investment would be "passive," with no operational control or authority in business or football matters.
At least 24 team owners would have to approve a limited partnership if the two sides agree to terms.
Brady is already in business with Raiders owner Mark Davis. The retired quarterback bought a stake in the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces back in March.
ESPN reports that a potential limited partnership would not affect Brady's contract to become a broadcaster for Fox Sports.
