A few major cable network programs will soon have new hosts.

Kaitlan Collins is slated to host an hourlong primetime show on CNN, filling a slot left vacant by former anchor Chris Cuomo, the network said Wednesday.

The ex-White House correspondent will leave theCNN This Morning show, which will be led by Poppy Harlow and a "rotation of CNN guest anchors."

Collins' new gig fills the spot left open after Cuomo's termination in Dec. 2021. His firing came after details emerged about how he helped his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, combat sexual assault allegations levied against him.

Ratings for the network plummeted below conservative channel Newsmax just a few days after hosting former President Donald Trump for a town hall that was highly criticized, but pulled in more than 3 million viewers.

The network has struggled to retain numbers that compete against its conservative counterpart Fox News.

She is a smart and gifted journalist who we've all seen hold lawmakers and newsmakers accountable,” CNN Chairman Chris Licht said in a memo to staff members. “She pushes politicians off their talking points, gets real answers — and as everyone who's worked with her knows — breaks a lot of news.”

In other TV cable news, the Drudge Report said Sean Hannity will take over for Tucker Carlson on Fox News following Carlson's firing on April 24.

The news of Carlson’s sudden ouster shocked the media world – along with Carlson himself, who reportedly learned of his forced departure from Fox 10 minutes before the news went public, according to the Wall Street Journal – barely a week after Fox agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787.5 million to settle a defamation suit stemming from comments made by Fox anchors and guests about the 2020 election.

Fox lost a step both its primetime dominance and hundreds of millions of dollars in value on the market, according to reports.

The Drudge Report claimed Wednesday that Hannity will take over Carlson's 8 p.m. slot. Fox has not independently confirmed the news.

No decision has been made on a new primetime line-up and there are multiple scenarios under consideration," a network spokesperson said in a statement to Mediaite.
